Netcall CODEC, Inbound calls

  Sorry if this on wrong forum. It would be great if you would have some English forums as well.

  Does TOT Netcall have support for AMR-NB codec or any less than 10Kbps codec?

  Is there, or are you planing to have an inbound calls from POTS as well?
  Eg. I would like to receive the calls from the normal telephone network to my TOTNetcall phone. Not only from the 068-numberspace).

Dear Pekka,

TOT netcall supports G.729 and G.723 voice codecs, which data rates are less than 10 kbps (G.729 = 8 kbps, G.723 = 5-6 kbps).

For inbound call, the service is planned to launch this year.

I'm recommended codec for TOT Netcall is G.729.It have sounds like realy more than G.723.

And you can ask your problem in any forum as well.

 Do you have an mailinglist where you announce of the new features like inbound calls. That would open up a lots of new possibilities for the service! For example office number for the company.

  Could Totnetcall consider FAX <-> email service for the subscribers?

  Customer would register their email-addresses for the totnetcall. When sending an email (in this case PDF or just plain image), it would be forwarded to the FAX number on the subject line.

  Incoming FAX:es would be processed to PDF and sent to the predefined email address.
